I'm pretty new in photography, but here it goes anyway. Hope you find it constructive. 
Nice composition and framing, and good timing capturing the moment! I would have approach a little bit more to the subjects, but that's just me. Maybe you motives were to show a wider view.
Also I (personally) find very appealing the contrast between the first plane (with plenty of light) with the background (almost pitch black).
